The data of the Mobile Game Statistics Agency, Appmagic, shows that Delta Action Tours, with a single-day income of $6.5 million, increased by more than 50 per cent over the previous month ‘ s peak, well above the $3.7 million spent in the same period on Jedi Survival. It’s a “no-go zone” that PUBG Mobile has never touched since the global explosion in 2018.

As a heavy IP launch, Delta Operations accumulated revenues of over $300 million. The game was launched in April 2024, with an initial monthly revenue of only $1.3 million, but has become the most profitable month on the track in September, with a projected recovery of over $42 million this month. A breakdown of the market shows that the iOS end of China contributed 96 per cent of its September income, showing a strong pull force in evaporating indigenous ecology. While global downloads are not published, the Daily Active Users (DAU) is over 20 million, with a fee conversion rate of 8 per cent, and far above the industry average of 5 per cent. Unlike PUBG Mobile’s “public competitive” model, the Delta Initiative emphasizes “striking shooting” (search and evacuation), which, in combination with large-scale escape elements, attracts hard-core players and promotes internal purchases as a share of 85 per cent.

According to Appmagic, the excellent performance of Delta may have benefited from the first World Championship, which brought together 12 elites from eight regions, with a total bonus of US$ 505,000. The event was conducted in a live-off-line mode, with a peak audience of over 1 million, leading to a 30 per cent surge in sales of neighbouring commodities. The bright spots include the finals of the “extracting mode”, the limited time available to the player to search for resources to escape, the integration of the MOBA strategy, and the re-enactment of the shooting competition. Second, the launch of the new field operation “Operation Shadowstriike”, which provides a time-bound mission chain and an exclusive weapon skin. In addition, the expectations for the new season “Season 2: Eclipse” were further amplified: the season would be launched in October, with the introduction of cross-platform online and AI-assisted training. Appmagic reported that these combined forces pushed up active daily users by 20 per cent and peak pay users by 45 per cent.

The world’s most deserving shooters are still PUBG Mobile, with over 1.2 billion downloads and a cumulative $9.2 billion. Immediately followed by Free Fire joined fire ninjas (a total of 2.6 billion downloads, a total of 1.3 billion downloads), Mission Callers (a total of 1.8 billion downloads, a total of 426 million downloads), Operation Wilderness (a total of 1.7 billion downloads, a total of 96 million downloads) and Crossing the Fireline: Legend (a total of 1.5 billion downloads, a total of 84 million downloads).
